    The plains bison, just one of two species of American bison. By the late 1880’s, these beautiful beasts had gone from 25 million in number to near extinction (less than 600). Their protection and reintroduction has brought their numbers to over 500,000! 

    “Plains Drifter” is an homage to these wonderful mammals and the plains on which they’ve lived.
